摘要：年例是粤西地区特有的传统民俗文化活动，当地素有“年例大过年”的说法。在田野调查的基础上，综合运用历史学、人类学、宗教学、社会学、文化学、民俗学和地理学的研究理论和方法，对年例民俗文化溯起源，论流变，说影响，意在探索。研究表明，年例民俗具有文化功能、宗族认同功能、娱乐功能与社会控制和社会秩序功能。在此基础上，以图文并茂的形式展现沙桐、六靖年例民俗文化传承的现状，探讨新形势下年例民俗文化的保护，为全面、深刻地研究粤西地区年例民俗文化起到积极的推动作用。
