摘要：伊丽莎白一世在位的时期是英国宗教改革的重要阶段，她面临的宗教问题极其复杂与尖锐，险恶的国际环境、混乱的国内局势都困扰着伊丽莎白。其中，英国与罗马教廷的关系尤为重要，两者关系存在一个变化的过程。在伊丽莎白统治的早期，英国对于罗马教廷带有很大程度的妥协，但是到了伊丽莎白统治的中后期，英国与罗马教廷的关系就开始转为紧张，伊丽莎白对天主教的活动进行了限制甚至是镇压。这种变化表明了英国的近代民族意识不断增强，通过摆脱罗马教皇的控制，实现政治和信仰上的独立自主。

The Relationship between England and the Vatican in the Period of Elizabeth I
Abstract： The reign of Elizabeth I was an important stage of the Religious Reform in England. The religious problems she faced were extremely complex and sharp, sinister international environment, and the chaotic domestic situation plagued Elizabeth, and the relationship between England and the Vatican was particularly important. The relationship between the two changed in the process. In the early days of Elizabeth's rule, England had a great deal of compromise with the Vatican, but in the middle and late of Elizabeth's rule, the relationship between England and the Vatican began to be tense, and Elizabeth restricted or even suppressed the Catholic activities. This change showed that the modern consciousness of the modern people in the England was enhanced by the control of the Papacy and the realization of political and religious autonomy.
