Abstract： William Golding is called “Fable Writer” in western countries. He often made use of realism to write his story. Inheriting the tradition of western ethics, Golding spared no effort to express his point, the darkness of human hearts. As Golding had participated in one of the wars, he knew exactly the terrible effects brought by the darkness hidden in our hearts. Thus, Golding believed that it was necessary to let people realize the danger around us and figure out some methods to get rid of them. 

This paper has chosen one of his most typical works, which is named “Lord of the Flies”, to discuss the evil qualities living in people’s soul and make further efforts to find the reasons that cause them. And in this way, it can be much easier to get some strategies that helps to solve the problems caused by Dionysian factors. The story of Lord of the Flies took place in a mysterious island, and the different experiences between children were main factors that changed their human nature. The process of children’s transformation is also the key of analysis. This article will analyse from different aspects, including the aspects of rhetorical devices, the detail descriptions and so on, to figure out the real reasons that contributed to children’s inner change and find the significant information that the author tried to deliver to us.

对《蝇王》中人性转变的分析

摘  要：威廉·戈尔丁在西方被人们尊称为“寓言作家”。他经常采用现实主义的风格来创造他的故事。由于戈尔丁的思想成功地继承了西方伦理学的精华，因而他尽他所能来阐述这一学派秉持的观点：坚信人类内心存在着黑暗。亲临战场的戈尔丁深信人内心的黑暗会带来无穷尽的灾害，因此最应该做的事情就是让人们意识到这些潜藏的危险，并想办法去隔离、避免或消灭它们。

本文选取了戈尔丁最具代表的作品之一《蝇王》来探讨那些隐藏在人们内心深处的黑暗，并进一步分析引起这些黑暗滋生的原因，从而在这一方面上得出有关消灭酒神因子的方法或手段。《蝇王》故事发生在一个神秘的小岛，主人公们在岛上的不同遭遇导致他们不同的思维变化是分析过程重要的切入点。本文将列举多个具有代表意义的角色，将他们在整个故事中发生的人性的转变过程一一呈现。然后结合多方面的角度来进行分析，包括修辞手法的运用和细节描写等方面的探索，来找出孩子们转变的原因，并最终得到戈尔丁试图给我们传达的信息与警示。
