Is it possible to change an attribute of image using VB

I just want to ask if it's possible to add an attribute to a image using Visual basic. and the image will save as jpeg file together with the add attribute to the properties?

Tell something more about what kind of images and what kind of properties, because attributes can mean a lot. For Jpeg there are for instance the exif properties, however not on onter images. While by using the Bitmap there is very few possible if it is not about the pixel, while that is with a BitmapImage much more, but the Bitmap has very much more other possibilities.
