Is there any advantages to use Sharepoint other than Worldox for document management

i would like to know difference between SharePoint 2010 and Worldox. what will be the best tool for document management? As one of my Staff wants to see what feature can provide Sharepoint other than Worldox. so that he can use sharepoint, right now we are using sharepoint 2010 to manage documents in our company. But this guy used to Worldox before, that is the reason to see feature in sharepoint.

SharePoint offers many features for ECM.

1. Document sets - These are special folders that allow the ability to add metadata to all documents stored within the folder. So you can organize and find content easily.

2. Easily set permissions for many different levels. Users can manage content and create unique permissions to allow various viewing levels.

3. Contains Information rights management which can be configured with Office to track document viewing, locking the document down so that it cannot be printed, or edited.

4. Drop off library - using metadata you can route documents to appropriate libraries just based on how fields are filled out, making it very easy for users to load, and manage content.

5. Metadata - Managed Metadata Service Application and metadata allow you to tag your content for searching and filtering. Using Managed Metadata Service you can create a robust taxonomy along with synonyms so users can tag content appropriately.

7. Workflows - using out of the box workflows and SharePoint designer you can manage document retention, and other policies.

6. .Net - you can custom develop using C# or VB to develop any components that are missing.
