Heathcliff didn’t get enough study both in turns of knowledge and religion belief. And it was because the loss of religion awareness that made Heathcliff a total demon for revenge and at the end of the story Heathcliff chose to suicide. On the other hand, with the awareness of religion, Edmond chose a totally different way from Heathcliff.
