摘要如今书籍装帧种类繁多，不乏好的创意与经典的套路。胶装和线装是书籍装帧的普遍装订方式，纸也是书籍装帧的主流材料，在应用上大部分的书籍都是采用的胶装软壳本，部分精装书会使用胶装硬壳本或线装硬壳本（硬壳本一般选用纸板），小部分精装书会使用木质，皮质，塑料，布料，金属等材料。在结构上普遍为单向翻页，封面为平面板材，信息载体主要以印刷方式来完成。以上为目前书籍市场的大致概况。  本篇论文的主要论述中心主要在于书籍装帧的材料运用与实用设计。对于精装书而言，提升其商用价-值与艺术价值的方式，主要是进行奇特的结构设计、高精度的复杂工艺与特殊材料选定。但在满足创意设计想法的情况下，很容易导致设计过于繁复，使用不便，材料过剩，创意累赘或包装价值高于其内容价值等情况，这些都是当代书籍设计经常出现的问题，在除极少数只为提升装帧艺术价值而设计的情况下，我们应该遵循书籍内容、书籍定义与书籍价值而进行其包装设计，而非一追加富余的创意和堆砌大量的材料来吸引目光或增加其价值。48661
