Abstract:Listening is most likely to cause learners’ anxiety among the four basic skills in foreign language learning. So far, many researchers have studied a lot about language anxiety, and many studies put the emphasis on college students or junior middle school students’ listening anxiety. Yet researches on senior high school students’ listening anxiety require further investigation. Through the empirical research like questionnaires, this paper aims to study the present status of senior high school students’ listening anxiety and English listening teaching in senior high school to find the causes and influencing factors of senior high school students’ listening anxiety. Through the questionnaire investigation together with the literature review, lack of English basic knowledge, the anxiety of test, lack of listening strategies and psychological emotions are four major factors affecting students’ listening comprehension. And there are some problems and limitations in teachers’ listening teaching in senior high school. Many teachers still adopt traditional listening teaching methods. Finally, some suggested countermeasures are put forward to reduce students’ listening anxiety and give reference to educators on teaching listening classes.

摘  要:听力是外语学习四项技能中最容易引起焦虑的一项。迄今为止,很多研究者对语言学习焦虑做出了相关研究,但大部分针对的是大学生和初中生英语听力焦虑,对高中生学习英语中产生的听力焦虑还需要进一步研究。因此,本研究通过问卷调查的实证研究方法,旨在探讨高中生英语听力焦虑和高中英语听力教学现状并由此分析造成听力焦虑的成因。本文通过问卷调查结果和文献综述分析发现,缺乏英语基础知识,考试焦虑,缺少英语听力策略和缺乏自信是高中生听力焦虑的主要影响因素。高中英语听力教学也存在着许多问题和局限,很多英语教师仍然沿用传统的听力教学方法。对此,本文提出缓解高中生的英语听力焦虑的对策,力求为广大教育者的英语听力教学课堂提供参考。
