A Study of Charity Development Experience China could learn from Foreign Countries
Abstract: China should draw useful experience of foreign countries, and gradually develop its own charity mode and make a develop schedule base on China's current national conditions. China should carry out specific work from the following three aspects: (a) make promotion of Chinese traditional culture, establish a modern concept of charity; (b) optimize incentives to accelerate the accumulation of charitable resources; (c) establish the social rules with self-discipline, mutual legal discipline all together. Adapt to the evolution of the market economy, the development of charity business in foreign countries have been through a long history and also have accumulated a lot of experience and have learned lessons during the period of history, there is no doubt that the experience would give China an impressive lesson on its own development. Along with development of China's market economy, as well as the construction of a harmonious socialist society, the task of promoting the development of Chinese charity, has been put on agenda. This paper will focus on how to draw useful experience from foreign countries, combine them with traditional Chinese culture, to speed up reform and opening up of management system, stimulate innovation ability of Chinese charitable organizations, and gradually improve the rule of law and tax environment of the charity business development in China. To find out the solution of strong Chinese characteristics together with the "localization" mode of charity development is in urgent.
